As if you needed another way to love butter – I know. But this spread is absolutely divine! Love it on a rustic warm bread, love it as a dip for raw veggies, love it as a starter for soups and gravies. Just trust me on this one – go ahead and love it too!!!
ROASTED ONION BUTTER
1 large onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
½ cup unsalted organic butter, softened at room temperature
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place the chopped onions single layer in a baking dish and bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool to room temperature. Place roasted onions, salt, pepper and butter in a food processor and process until creamy. Store in the refrigerator. Share the love.
